POCsO committee

The POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Committee in a school is a vital safeguarding mechanism aimed at protecting children from sexual abuse exploitation.

Comprised of educators, counsellors, and legal experts, its role is to create a safe environment where students feel comfortable reporting any instances of sexual misconduct. The committee conducts sensitization programs, educates students about personal safety, and promptly addresses any reported incidents following legal protocols. By prioritizing the well-being and protection of children, the POCSO Committee plays a crucial role in promoting a secure and nurturing educational environment conducive to the holistic development of students.
